Membership in HBA Fox Cities is a privilege, and all members agree to abide by the association's Bylaws, Code of Ethics & Performance and policies. Applicants for membership are carefully reviewed by the Membership Committee and must be approved by the HBA Fox Cities Board of Directors.
Home Builders Association of the Fox Cities has two primary membership types ($375 first year and $345 each year thereafter):
Any individual who operates or is employed by a firm, partnership, corporation, or other recognized business entity in the business of building, remodeling or land development and holds current credentials required by the state of WI to obtain building permits. Builder members must also complete the HBA Fox Cities-coordinated Contracts & Lien Laws course.
*Note re: Builder Member applicant must hold WI Contractor Credential and at least one employee of applicant company must hold WI Contractor Qualifier Credential. Those who apply as a “Builder” member are required to complete, within 12 months of join date, the “Contracts & Lien Laws” class as prescribed by HBAFC. Failure to do so will result in membership classification change to “Associate” member. (This class is typically held 2x/year.)
Any individual who operates or is employed by a firm, partnership, corporation, or other recognized business entity that does not meet the definition outlined for Builder member
And one secondary membership type ($100/year):
A secondary membership available to any person who is an employee of a current Builder or Associate member. Affiliate members shall be subject to the same rules and regulations with reference to admission and payment of dues as a primary member. Affiliate members do not have the ability to vote, but do have the ability to attend meetings, mixers and other HBA Fox Cities functions, sit on and chair committees, receive member communications and much more!
